Above: Modified Telly Gun kit, 4 narrow beam LEDs, blue resonator, better battery enclosure from Digi-Key, I sanded the bright blue LED that the Telly-Gun kit came with because it was very bright and hard to conceal.
This is a cheapo TV-B-Gone from salvaged parts. I reprogrammed the micro-controller to use the less accurate internal resonator. Even with the less accurate resonator, I have not yet noticed any difference in performance.
